We are tremendously proud of our basic group obedience course because we offer the highest graduation standards in New York City and one of the highest in the country which ultimately saves you both time and money. You and your dog are prepared and trained for real world encounters such as the vet, dog park, going shopping or to dinner. Dog park etiquette and safety is also included in this course. Your dog will be also be taught the following:
– Walk on a loose leash through a crowd, traffic and a store
– Walk through all types of doors, ie. Revolving, elevator
– Sit automatically at all curbs
– Sit-Stay for three minutes with distractions at a 20 foot distance
– Down-stay for five minutes with distractions at a 20 foot distance
– Come when called from a 20 feet distance
– Stand stay while at the groomers and vets
– Leave things on the ground
This 7 week course meets once a week for one hour and the cost is $375. Graduation includes the AKC Canine Good Citizen test. If your dog does not pass the graduation test, you are entitled to repeat the course at no extra charge.
